The Client:
One of the event of Reed Exhibitions, named as "2008 SPE Indian Oil & Gas" is a Technical Conference & Exhibition for senior executives, engineers and industry professionals that brings national and international E&P companies to the Indian market to debate and invest in transfer technology and solutions.
The Challenge:
The client required a state of art website for 2008 SPE Indian Oil & Gas Technical Conference and Exhibition where various exhibitors can gather information and get themselves registered for the exhibition online. The event has been driven by an industry committee of experts from across the value chain and has been organized by the SPE and Reed Exhibitions India.
The Solution:
Zed-Axis designed and developed a state of the art website with latest technical insights to solve enable the organizers have a smooth functioning of all the processes related to the exhibition.
The website depicts a very corporate & business looks& feel, highlighting (wherever required) the relevant information like delegates, events, press & news, sponsored by, Login and as may be required.
User Management: As the website had various users, Zed- Axis developed a user management solution for its various users which include exhibitors, delegates, speakers, visitors, etc. The solution also enabled the administrators to take a backup of all the user data in form of reports.
Automated Registration: Zed-Axis created an automated registration process for the event where different users can register and their registration can be confirmed and completed without any manual intervention. We developed various modules for four major users i.e. Exhibitors, Speakers, Delegates and Visitors along with multiple payment options such as online gateway, cheque / draft payment and bank transfers. As soon as any user registers online he would be sent an automated confirmation email with a unique registration number. Also, the module has been designed to send automatic reminders about the event to registered users. Further to all this, the registration system gets empowered by various kinds of real time reports, such - Revenue Reports, Registration Reports, etc.
Content Management System: Zed- Axis also provided a content management system to 2008 SPE Indian Oil & Gas Technical Conference and Exhibition. The administrator could manage press, news and media and also had the rights to Ability to highlight special news on Homepage and predefine the time period for their stay on homepage.
Apart from the above mentioned functionalities we also integrated ICICI Payment Gateway for national and international Delegates, Exhibitors. Alerts emails were sent as soon as some one got registered. Also the website enables an internal search with reports generation, floor plan with search functionality and profile management for all the registered users.

The Impact:
The website has been successful in carrying out all the registrations for various users of the application. All the members are satisfied with the functioning of the application as the organizers are now free of the registration process and can concentrate on better organization of the exhibition.
