Objective:
Kraft Indya is an Indian start-up intending to sell Handicrafts, Garments and Accessories online using e-commerce as a medium to penetrate the Domestic and the International Market.
Challenges:
The biggest challenge of all was to compete with the similar websites in terms of Functionalities, User Experience, Navigation and innovative selling solutions. Our design and development team studied the competitors' websites and brainstormed to prepare the strategy, each module offering and design were thoroughly checked to give the user buying experience of a lifetime.
Solution:
The whole architecture of the website is developed in a way that the user is able to select the desired products and check out seamlessly with minimal clicks. The user can also gift the products to their friends and loved ones online. He/she can also track the orders. Managing the wish list for future buying and an entire log of order history are some of the very distinctive features of the website. The powerful content management system helps administrator to manage Product Catalogue, Product Categories and sub-categories, activate and de-activate the product, set product feature priority and upload images. The website is secured with 128 bit encryption with a certificate and seal from Verisign and is integrated with payment gateway from 2 Check Out.
Technology:
The RDBMS used is SQL Server, programming languages being ASP.NET with Windows Server 2000.
