The Client:
GD Food India, the owner of Tops brand was established in 1985 by Mr. Brij. M. Seth with the launch of Tops Noodles that became the taste of the nation instantly. Since then, Tops is among the top food processing companies in India adding new variants to appeal all kind of target audience across India as well as 25 countries across the Globe.
Issue:
Tops India required a complete revamp of their existing image that reflected a national flavor and restricted it just to the Indian boundaries. The website was to be re-branded according to their new branding that is 'Fresh & Fine' to conquer more markets. Another concern was to create a user friendly interface to promote their newly launched products and existing ones in an engaging manner.
Solution:
Our creative and project management team got along with the Tops team that consisted of their Top management and other production & sales officers. The first priority was to understand their design requirements that need to position Tops as an international food processing brand with their new branding 'Think Fresh'. The design of website was conceptualized and visualized to project Top with this new branding giving a 'Fresh' look and feel through out.
Our senior art visualizes chalked out a flash design based on the new branding. Our team tried and achieves the objective by continuously improving upon the designs with client?s inputs using the latest tools and technologies in Designing.
Another vital element of this particular project was to promote and showcase Tops products that have been heavily reinvented in the recent past. The content team along with designers created user friendly navigation with segregation of around 80 products in nine categories and an enticing interface which serves both the purposes.
Technology Used:
XHTML
Flash 8
Photoshop CS 2
Dreamweaver 8
ASP.Net 2.0
The Impact:
The newly launched website has been appreciated by Tops clients in a recent business meet in Singapore and similar feedbacks have been pouring in from different parts of India and other countries as well. The website clearly portrays a global packaged & processed food player image in synch with their overall new branding of 'Fresh & Fine'.
